The bone needle and stick to a tattoo, it is legal to Hawaii or another? It was illegal at one time? Do you have links about the legality of past and present? I need links!

I do not believe that the use of bone by the fact that there are not sterilized. In some places could even the bones, but I am sure that the most famous artists use metal combs now. In Hawaii, tattoos are legal. They do not know about other countries in Polynesia or the legal history of tattoos. Since tattoos are a property of the tribe, I suppose, that the Government may, outside the laws of health, which never will be governed tribal tattoos. I know that Western missionaries frowned on tattoos in Polynesia, the forehead, but they either did not go as far as making it illegal on me.

I know of only one artist who is also known for this. He is originally from Tahiti, but the mainland to travel to, from time to time. His instruments are made of boar tusks. It is perfectly legal. As a traditional tattoo very expensive ($ 1K) is I am now to my rescue. Check out their website.

Any reputable business in the state, would probably be in a position to obtain business license or the certificate of the Public Health Department received, with bone tools. Like all items must be sterilized before use. Autoclaves cooking probably a tool made of bone and make it sweet.

Not that doing the interception of a private artist out there.

I believe it is legal, because a colleague who had the procedure performed on his visit to Hawaii.
